Our processes include:

• Polishing and buffing of even the most awkward areas, either on board the yacht or at our facility, as either a finishing element or prior to plating.
• Ultrasonic cleaning / degreasing, where the combination of a cleaning agent and the ultrasonic waves lifts dirt, grease or oil from the items surface, including hard to reach areas.
• Sand / bead blasting, to either prepare surfaces prior to plating or as decorative technique to add texture and appearance.
• Acid stripping for all coatings, including powder coating, paint, anodising, galvanising, chrome, nickel and silver.
• Satining for parts that require a consistent satin finish.
• Stop-off masking for areas that don’t require plating.
• Copper plate levelling for highly pitted and corroded fittings, or to provide extra resistance against wear and further corrosion.
• Passivation and pickling of stainless steel, providing a surface free from contaminants and greater resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
